The short answer
Keep three stages separate. A quote request asks the team to review a journey. Checkout lets you review and pay for an eligible booking. A booking confirmation records the accepted arrangements. Save the confirmation and pickup instructions, and check the applicable terms before paying.

Know which stage your journey has reached
An on-screen fare helps you review a journey, but it is not evidence that a driver has been assigned. A request receipt means your details were received for review. Neither should be described as a completed, confirmed ride.
Taxi Mauritius uses Andeor’s Seke booking system. Journeys with an agreed fare continue to Andeor checkout and are confirmed instantly after successful payment. Book at least two hours before pickup. Driver assignment is shown separately in Your rides. Requests that need a price, different equipment or a tailored day remain with the team until an offer has been prepared and accepted.
Review the journey before paying
Check the names, dates, local times, addresses, flight information and group size. Read the total currency, what is included, payment requirements and cancellation terms shown for your booking. Do not rely on another website’s policy as the terms of your own ride.
Payment methods can vary by service and checkout availability. Use the methods offered through the approved booking flow. A payment attempt, an unpaid reference and a successful payment are different states; keep the actual receipt or confirmation once issued.
Ask about changes and cancellation early
If plans change, contact the team with the booking reference and the details you need to change. A new pickup, vehicle size or time can require a new price or availability check. Wait for the amended arrangement to be confirmed.
Cancellation deadlines, waiting allowances and refunds depend on the accepted service conditions. There is no promise here of free cancellation or unlimited waiting. Ask for clarification before paying if a condition is unclear.
Keep useful details at pickup
Save your booking reference, the agreed pickup point and the support contact. If you cannot find the driver, remain at the agreed meeting point if practical and contact the team. Describe your location clearly so you can be matched with the right arrangement.
For an airport arrival, follow your confirmed meeting instructions rather than another traveller’s directions. For a hotel pickup, verify whether the meeting point is the lobby, gate or a vehicle-accessible entrance.

Your questions, answered.
Does a quote request reserve a taxi?
No. It sends your requirements for review. Wait for an accepted offer and booking confirmation before relying on the journey.
Can I pay by cash or card?
Use the payment options offered for your specific booking. If you prefer another method, ask the team before confirming. Do not assume every taxi or transfer accepts the same methods.
Who should I contact if my plans change?
Contact Taxi Mauritius at info@taximauritius.org or +230 5508 0629 with your reference and the requested change. An amendment takes effect when the new arrangement is confirmed.
